I don’t know about you but few things motivate me more than watching the world-class athletes at the CrossFit Regionals make the toughest workouts look ridiculously easy. It has even inspired me to get into competing with a team, and although the weights I’m lifting might not be quite as big (!) these competitions are helping me refine the kit I can wear WOD in, WOD out, and never worry it’s going to let me down. Here are my top CrossFit picks for the summer season:
A good pair of shorts is essential to any WOD involving burpees, wall ball or anything high intensity.
These might be yoga tights, but I love lifting in them! They’re really comfortable and don’t fall down at all, even if you’re running or wearing knee sleeves.
These are still, hands down, the best shoes I’ve ever trained in. I love my Nanos and would never be without them. Here’s me hitting a 50kg bear complex in a competition with CrossFit Buxton wearing my Nanos and Graffiti Tights.
I love the straps on this bra and how well it fits. These bras can take you from pull ups to running to split jerks in ultimate comfort!
No CrossFit outfit is complete without a pair of Stance socks. Wear them as a pair or buy two different styles and mix them up – they have some brilliant prints and they’ll also protect your shins from the dreaded deadlift bruises!
