The London Marathon took place this past weekend and we must congratulate everyone who took part. This is a huge feat and outstanding accomplishment whatever your level of fitness, so congratulations to all of you from all of us at SportStylist.
When big sporting events happen it sure makes you inspired and motivated. You start to rethink some of your fitness goals. I never really had a fitness goal (other than to keep fit) until the other day. Running has always been something I want to enjoy and love. Those days when I don’t have the motivation to go to the gym I just want to put on my trainers and go for a run. Obviously this is also weather dependant, because who really wants to go for a run when it’s raining?
People make running look so easy, and I guess it should be, but for some people (myself included) it’s not that simple. So for this week’s #WishListWednesday I am sharing with you some running apps that will help you push through the “can’t” wall and get you training to reach your goals. During my runs I try and remember my five steps to get into running. I also remind myself I am capable and if I push through, it will become easier.
This week I have set a new fitness goal and this is my current fitness wish. What are your fitness goals and wishes?
Get into Running apps
Essentially these two apps and many more do the same thing. They get you up and started. Below are a few options on how to track your run once you are confident enough to it go alone.
