The Nike Rostarr Collection takes four iconic Nike running styles and updates them with fierce graphic designs from NYC artist and runner Rostarr.
Blending the boundaries between art and running, the geometric patterns match the fluidity and rhythm of city running. Rostarr builds upon the visual language called ‘Graphysis’, a word that exemplifies the geometric dynamism at the core of all of his work. He is known for the iconic ‘Black Roses’ run club logo, and runs with the crew on a regular basis.
Rostarr says of the new collection: [themify_quote]”When creating the artwork I experimented with different calligraphy pens and brushes until I found the right combination stylistically.you just know when it feels right and has the right flow and balance. It was important that the letters have a fluidity and rhythm, just like running-you need to pace yourself and get into the right cadence.”[/themify_quote]
Discover the Rostarr twist on the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 33, the Nike Air Zoom Structure 20, the Nike Free RN, and Nike LunarGlide 8, and run your city in style. Rostarr’s designs have also found their way onto a collection of unique running gear, also featuring reflective elements to aid visibility in low light.
